If you're using any type of ad-blocking extensions on your web browser and are having listening to stations or navigating to pages on iHeart.com, you might need to whitelist or disable this extension.

We've included instructions below for whitelisting iHeart.com when using AdBlock Plus and instructions for completely disabling any ad block extension if you so choose.

 

Whitelisting iHeart.com using AdBlock Plus

On Google Chrome:

  1. From the Chrome toolbar, click the Adblock Plus icon and then click the gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select the Whitelisted websites tab.
  3. Enter the website URL and click Add website.

 

On Mozilla Firefox:

  1. From the Firefox toolbar, click the Adblock Plus icon and then click the gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select the Whitelisted websites tab.
  3. Enter the website URL and click Add website,

 

On Safari:

  1. From the Safari toolbar, click the Adblock Plus icon and select Open Adblock Plus.
  2. Select the Whitelist tab.
  3. Enter the website URL and click Add Website.

 

On Microsoft Edge:

  1. From the Edge toolbar, click the Adblock Plus icon and then click the gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select the Whitelisted websites tab.
  3. Enter the website URL and click Add website.

 

Disabling any ad blocking extension

On Google Chrome:

  1. From the Chrome toolbar, click the puzzle piece extensions icon.
  2. Select Manage Extensions.
  3. From here, you can toggle off the extension.

 

On Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Click the Firefox menu icon and select Add-ons.
    1. Select Extensions from the left menu.
  2. Locate your Adblock extension and select Disable.

 

On Safari:

  1. From the Mac menu bar, click Safari and select Preferences.
  2. Select the Extensions tab.
  3. From the left menu, clear the check box next to the extension's icon and the extension's Control Panel check box if there is one.

 

On Microsoft Edge:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. At the top corner of the browser, select Settings and more  > Extensions, then select the toggle next to the extension you want to turn off.

  3. The extension icon next to the address bar will disappear.


If you don't see the icons on any of the browsers above check the installed Extensions in your browser to see if you have any ad block extensions installed. If you don't see any ad block extensions installed but are still having trouble streaming try our other troubleshooting steps.
