Turn off Android Wear Notifications for iHeartRadio

To stop iHeartRadio notifications from showing up on your Android Wear watch, follow the steps below:

  1. On your phone, open the Android Wear app Android Wear.
  2. Tap Block app notifications.
  3. Tap Add Add, then tap the app you want to block.

Optional for Android phones: To stop card notifications from the Google app, learn how to customize them on your phone. When you listen to music on your phone, you’ll always see the music card with options to pause and play. You can’t turn this card off.

To get app notifications again:

  1. On your phone, open the Android Wear app Android Wear.
  2. Tap Settings Settings and then Block app notifications.
  3. Next to the app, tap Close Close .

Once muted, iHeartRadio notifications will not be sent to your Wear watch, but you will still be able to view the Now Playing and Next cards. You will also be able to start iHeartRadio through the Android Wear Start menu or by voice prompts "OK Google", "Open iHeartRadio".
