Discover with Scan

Discover new stations with scan. Just like in your car, tap scan to seamlessly sample stations nationwide, by city, or even genre.

Mobile and Tablet

  • On the Home tab, update location using the Live Radio Dial. Select from Use Current Location, Use Zip Code, or Choose a City
  • Choose Genre or leave All Genres
  • Tap Scan Stations and let it find your new favorite station!

Desktop / iHeart.com

  • Start on the Home screen
  • Choose Location & Genre by using the Live Radio Dial. Select, Use Current Location or Choose any city from All Locations
  • Click Scan Stations 

 

Scan Duration

By default, Scan duration is set to 7 seconds. On the mobile app, you can change the duration in Settings > Playback & Downloads> Set to 7s, 10s, or 15s
